Information we collect
When you submit the enquiry form, we collect the contact, organization, country, budget, timing and project information you choose to provide. The website may also record referral and campaign information supplied by your browser so we can understand which services attract legitimate enquiries.
Business assistant
The Smatec assistant records limited anonymous topic and performance events to improve approved answers and understand demand. Do not enter passwords, secret keys, confidential records or sensitive personal information. The built-in assistant uses Smatec-approved website knowledge and does not require a third-party generative AI service.
Analytics and sharing
Google Analytics is configured with restricted advertising signals and consent controls. Analytics storage and commercial interaction events are enabled only after you select “Allow analytics.” Choosing “Essential only” keeps the website available without analytics storage, and the Privacy choices control allows you to change that decision later. Logged-in Smatec administrators may be excluded from measurement. The free health-check answers remain in your browser and are not transmitted. Social sharing controls open the service you select; that service may process the shared page URL under its own privacy terms.
Why we use it
We use this information to assess your request, communicate with you, prepare proposals, improve website guidance and maintain a responsible record of business enquiries. We do not sell enquiry data or add you to a marketing list without separate permission.
Retention and security
Enquiries are retained only as long as reasonably required for commercial, legal and security purposes. Access is restricted to authorized Smatec personnel and service providers needed to operate the website.
International enquiries
Because Smatec serves clients worldwide, your information may be processed in the country where Smatec or an approved infrastructure provider operates. Appropriate contractual and technical safeguards will be considered for regulated projects.
Your choices
You may change your analytics choice using the Privacy choices control. You may also ask us to correct or delete an enquiry, subject to legal and security obligations, using the contact details on this website.
Important limitation
Do not submit credentials, secret keys, evidence files, health records or other highly sensitive information through the public form or assistant. We will establish a protected channel when required.
